(INCOMPLETE) PART 1 121022-121030 2nd Korea Trip

DISCLAIMER: SORRY I COULDN'T LOCATE MY OLD PICS SO I DECIDED TO END MY POST HERE I'M SO SORRY

All thanks to my sleepless night haha! Oh and thanks KTO Malaysia!
FYI, I won a return ticket to Korea as I was picked as the grand winner of Visit Korea blogging contest.

AUTUMN TOOK MY BREATH AWAY THE VIEW WAS SO MAGNIFICENT THE EARTHY COLOURS THE FALLEN LEAVES THE SLIGHTLY COOL WEATHER..SUBHANALLAH

This time I had quite a long stay; 9 days to be exact. I brought along my baby sis, Hazirah!
*Parents insisted me to have a travelling companion*
I've decided to split my post up into 3 parts so I'd have time to put much effort into each post.
Yay?

Itinerary
Day 1: LCCT Sepang-Incheon-Gimpo-Yeouido
Day 2: Yeouido Park-Namdaemun Market-Myeongdong-N.Seoul Tower-Itaewon-KBS building
Day 3: KBS building-Gangnam Crebeau Bell-Gangnam McKiss-Time Out Gelato-SM Ent building-Omokgyo-E Mart
Day 4: Gwanghamun Square-Gwanghamun Palace-Kyobo Book Centre-Ewha street
Day 5: Namdaemun-Myeongdong
Day 6: COEX Mall-Jamsil Crebeau Jeff-Kona Beans
Day 7: Nami Island-Hongdae Hello Kitty cafe
Day 8: Lotte World-Myeongdong
Day 9: Incheon-LCCT Sepang

Day 1 Monday. I had absolutely no idea why I picked Mon of all the days. Last Korea trip, I flew on Monday too. Checked in our 'overweight' luggage but I had to take my jumper, a towel and an empty bottles out of the luggage and voila! 3kgs gone -__-
7 long hours, we reached Incheon safe and sound! Oho~someone's excited~~~Zirah
(it's her 1 st ever overseas' trip).
The immigration was nothing in particular..do bear in mind PIC AND RECORDING ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE AREA. I was perplexed at how the workers handled things, since there're long queues at the immigration counters......new ones would be opened right away

X___X Dear LCCT, please take note on how Koreans do their work!

I took the subway this time (more $$ to spare for shopping/food) instead of taking the limousine bus. From Incheon aiport, we headed to Exit 5 that led us to airport railway.

Koreans and their smart phones....I couldn't use my phone as the wifi was password protected.

The subway ride was less than W4000 (RM 12). FYI the limousine bus was W10,000 (RM30). Those who prefer comfort and carry big luggage, please ride the aiport bus. We took Line 5 (Purple) from Incheon all the way to Gimpo and then transferred to Line 5 Yeouido
*It was roughly 70 min from Incheon to Yeouido.*

Look at that cute, mini pass-through! Provided especially for little kids!

We stopped by a convenience store on our way to Exit 2. For first-timers, do try the banana flavour milk. It's sweet and tasted like banana smoothie! This Binggrae banana milk->W1,100 (?) (RM3).

Zirah and her banana milk. Oh-so-fresh!

Stood in front of the underground passage (subway station)

It was freaking chilly!
Zirah roamed around the area, trying to get familiar with the neighborhood. Amidst the darkness, I saw two persons approached me from the opposite direction. Kak Ayu and Zirah!
Kak Ayu is a friend of mine whom I met back in Jan, I stayed at her apartment once~
She was transferred to Korea for a year due to work (however she's back in KL as we speak).
Thanks to her, we're able to have a place to stay! 감사합니다 언니!

Love Marriott! Thanks for the lovely stay. Love the lift; went up to 11th floor merely in 30 secs! COOL!

Day 2 Tuesday. Kak Ayu had long gone to work by the time we woke up.
I packed some sandwiches thinking we could have our breakfast at Yeouido park.
It was a baaaaaaadddd  idea---fingers went numb, it's too windy outside so we had to gobble the sandwiches down in four bites...!
But the view at the park was extremely pleasing, though!!!
Ahhhh I LOVE AUTUMN!

Tracks provided for pedestrians and cycling.

We then crossed the hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee road (apparently there were like 11 lanes!) and we made it safe to the underground passage; Exit 6. LOL.

To Namdaemun Market from Yeouido, there are 2 options:
1) by Rapid subway (less stops hence less time consuming, fare is more than of those normal trains; I'm not so sure how it actually works and the train's frequency, sorry~)
2) by normal train

On our way ~

We walked into a rapid train by accident LOL let's just say we worked up a sweat re-adjusting our map and phew~finally arrived at Hoehyeon station..haha!

In front of Namdaemun Market. Spot those big rainbow umbrellas.

Namdaemun is placed 2nd after Myeongdong in term of my fav shopping places :P

Some might find Namdaemun Market (NM) offers inexpensive goods and some don't.
If you're looking for vast variety of traditional and local souvenirs for family and friends, this is the place.
As for me NM is where I could bring back 3-for-W10,000-I-Love-Korea t-shirts, key chains, colourful fridge magnets, comfy pajamas, chopsticks set and many other little things.
Just put on a hearty smile and bargain your way through! "Sajang-nim, discount juseyo"

From NM, it's only a stone's throw away of the bustling Myeongdong. Follow the sign boards (and the pedestrians), cross the roads, pass by some stores/buildings and Myeongdong would be in front of you.

One of the many underground passage's exits to Myeongdong.

Lotteria.

We had lunch at Lotteria, ordered 2 sets of shrimp burger (fries+cola). It was satisfying T___T we had a short break in here, as I jotted down the things-to-buy.

120118 Day 3: Visiting Crebeau (JJ, YC and JS) and Bum's Story

The night before, we had decided that 1st, we'd be heading to Junsu's Crebeau Belle  since it was the farthest out of the 5.
  • Crebeau Belle.  A cosmetic shop runs by Mrs Kim aka Xiah Junsu's mama
  • Time Out Gelato Bars. Yoochun’s mama ice cream bar, located in Apgujeong Station.
  • Red Carpet saloon. JYJ often had their hair/makeup done there. WE GOT LOST SO WE GAVE UP T__T
  • Crebeau Kiss. (IT HAS NOW MOVED TO ANOTHER FLOOR WHICH I FORGOT  WHERE LOL STILL IN THE SAME BUILDING BTW. BIGGER ROOM!) YooChun’s cosmetic fangoods of ParkYoochun's shop (no longer in business since 2010, it changed name to McKiss). Run by Park Yoochun's aunt.
  • Bum's Story. Run by Jaejoong's friend. (Have no idea how to get here..we jz happened to stumbled upon Bum's Story board LOL)

1) Crebeau Belle

It took us an hour and so in order to get to CB. We're getting off from Myeongdong  station line #4, so we stopped at Chungmuro station and changed to line #3 then we went all the way to Jeongbalsan Exit #2. Thanks to Ashley who did all the how-to-get-theres for us! ^^v Once we reached the top of the endless stairs, chilly air of Jeongbalsan welcomed us right on our face -________- cold!!!!! I was so nervous i missed the cue LOL almost got locked out after She and Kei had already stepped inside. Glad the staff helped me with the door~aigoo Koreans and their auto doors..haha! Well..there was a Junsu's life size cutout where we can snap photos with! ^^ my eyes immediately went to this glass wall room....LEO, TIGGER, BAKIRA! I squatted in front and called Leo over. He stretched like one lazy spoilt cat and gradually made his way to me! I shrieked 'Omo! Omo!' The staffs laughed away as i looked kinda silly:P Leo was so cuteeeee and fluffy! I pulled my cam out and he immediately put his face down. Wth Leo did chu hate camewaaaa..aww i think he misses Junsu~

This was where Leo, Tigger and Bakira lived in! Wasn't those cat's beds cute!
Inside. Junsu's posters were everywhere. On the wall..kya! If only the real one was here :(

CB was actually an apartment. Walls were painted white~sorta gave this grand feeling^^ Oh! There was an A-4 paper pasted on the wall (the cats' 'glass mansion') "Not more than 10 min please~!" Pftt i spent nearly 30 mins squealing and making funny faces for sulky Leo:P As i walked further into the  centre of this incapacious store, u can see a bunch of fans gifts for Junsu. Cute cute and cute! From Japan, China, Thai etc. Ugh i should have brought my just-bought Malaysian soccer team jersey!! The jersey might land on one of the fans gifts' corner *regretful* I wanted to buy some of CB products but most were totally off my budget! EXPENSIVE >.<* Nvm, u can still buy Xiah goods from the counter. Kei and She bought handbag key chain holder, stickers and pillow. Time was running out, lunch had passed, before leaving, we asked one the workers to help us with the cam. One last group pic before leaving this cute store! Now off we go to Time Out Gelato Bar!!!

2) Time Out Gelato Bars

From Jeongbalsan station, we alighted at Line #2. Apgujeong Station. Exit #5..walked straight out of the exit down the sidewalk then took the first left down a side road and TOGB was on the left! Thanks Ashley, your direction rocked! ^^ Kyaa TOGB was cute! I know it's crazy to have ice cream in winter, but who cares? We were starving btw what choices did we have~i opted for a regular cup (2 flavours) Dude..it cost 4500won (about rm13)! I would never ever buy one if it was selling in Msia -.- sigh~anything for dearest Micky ok

Pic credit to SheLovesJae/Keiku sorry which one of u owns this? Haha! Thanks!

What i got for myself...Tim Tam and Cookies flavours! She had been here before, so i just followed what she was ordering haha. Minus the Cookies flavour ^^; SWEETTTTTTTT maddness! My guilty pleasure *staring at my rotten tooth*

Kei and me smiling for the cam!

We sat by the window while trying to finish off our when-will-u-melt-and-let-me-enjoy-u-in-liquid-form ice cream. This is why u shouldn't buy one when it's in winter! Btw,  Micky's mom's car was parked outside so she was in here, right?~no luck..we stayed for almost an hour yet still couldn't catch a glimpse of her. [P/S Correct me if i'was wrong but i sorta read that it's a common thing for people to leave something when u were in a place.] As to show that u had been there..so...we kinda left our RM1 bill on the board (that was filled with with fans' polaroid pics, letter). If only i had a polaroid cam with me! Sobs. Hope Micky saw the bill! Hihi.
*Turned out, last Feb when my friends were in TOGB, our rm1 bill was no longer there!!!! WHAT HAPPENED?! I hope no one stole it or tore it off the board =,(

3) Red Carpet Saloon
Mehhhhhhhhhhhh we got lost!! Eventually, we gave up to walking back and forth looking for the so called black building where RC was supposed to be at/in/near or asdfghjkkkk.

4) Crebeau Kiss (now is known as MicKiss)
Line number 7, Gangnam-gu Office Station, Exit #2.. As soon as you come out of the exit turn to your left & it is the building right in front of you "SK Hub Blue". Walk in to the elevators past the front desk on your right. Take the elevator to the 5th flr, turn left out of the elevator then right down the hallway.. room 505!" Again, Ashley..thank you so much! *hugs* A young woman welcomed us and Micky's aunt was working on the computer right across us. OMG. So much like Mama Kim..i wonder if she was the dongsaeng or the unnie? :D The staff served us juice..*gulps* Thanks for the thought!

Considering we managed to converse with the staff and Micky's aunt (forgot to ask for her name LOL) in Eng, we weren't that awkward like when we were in CB LOL. I personally asked for a group pic with Micky's aunt and she said 'OK~' She turned around, pulled something out of the drawer.....she powdered her face..! Wow! I wasn't expecting that! Ah~so beauty concious..so cute la Kim family ni! And here was the group pic..

Micky was my 2nd bias and my lil sis was also a fan of him, so..i bought files:P 3 for 10,000won..okay lah. And i got cute pink paper bag!!! We bid Micky's aunt goodbye and i told her to come to Malaysia anytime~lalala

5) Bum's Story
THE.MOST.EXCRUCIATING.PLACE.TO.FIND.EVER!!! We spent 15 min at the side walk, 5pm, sky was getting dark, temperature dropped like crazy while we intensely studied  the subway map. Lucky for us, down the subway, i approached an ahjushi (he wore suit so i assumed he had good command of Eng LOL!) he even called the restaurant for direction.

Ahjuhsi: Yoboseyo? Anyeong hashimnika. Here, i'm calling on behalf of *whispers something to us..asking for our identity* fans from Malaysia (we turned red and faked laugh). Can u help us how to get to your restaurant? ...Oh okay. Kamsahamnida~

Blahblahblah i hardly digested what he was saying as my mind was off somewhere taking a short break due to mild exhaustion. Haha! She was good with taking directions and boy how i glad She was my travel mate:P (Bum's Story address->Seoul, Gangnam-gu, Nonhyeon-dong 94-17. Tel: 02-3446-6878) And yes we got lost again! My feet were hurting and the night was so chilly! We approached 2 Korean girls, (talking in broken Korean+Eng) they suggested us to take a cab instead. We refused to as we had this feeling that we're probably a couple blocks away from Bum's Story. We decided to walk again when they ran towards us telling that we’re heading to the wrong direction LOL! So nice of em^^; as we walked down the hill, She saw a signboard…closer and closer it was BUM’S STORY SIGNBOARD. OMG!! Took a sharp breath and went into the restaurant. Wow. So nice. Very the Japanese décor ah LOL!

We sat at the corner, near the entrance. A girl came and gave us the menu. We agreed to have seafood pancake and...that was it haha! Penat~xlarat nk ckp byk2. I wanted some hot drinks like tea/coffee but the girl misunderstood me by listing me out soju/beers/makgoli. Aiya! What i meant by 'hot' was nothing like getting drunk! ROFL! We got a bowl of velvety-skin green peas and soy sauce. *Plain water was served everywhere in Korea, FOC tau.* The pancake came and we dig dig dig! I dipped it into the sauce cz it was  kinda tasteless~*cries*. Was hoping Jaejoong would drop by any soon but he wasn't haha! Feeling a lot better aka full, Kei paid the bill and we're off to the entrance to take more and more pics!

BEFORE
Seafood pancake. Like telur dadar gitewww!
AFTER
Nomnomnom!!!

Apparently.....2 days later....Kim Jaejoong had dinner with his friends! He even interact with his fans who dined at his restaurant~*whines* He jz got back from his home town. I got the news after i had returned from a crazy day at Namsan Tower and Lotte World. A friend of JJ even tweeted his pics. Gah!! Can u imagine how frustrated i was?
